Organisation Settings & Members

Manage your organisation details, team members, roles, and invitations.

Organisation Details

Navigate to Settings > Organisation to update your organisation name and details. These values appear throughout the platform, including document templates and exported reports.

Managing Members

From the Members section of Settings, you can add new team members by email, edit existing members, or remove them from your organisation. When you invite a member, they receive an email with a secure link that expires after 7 days.

Pending invitations are displayed separately so you can track who hasn't yet accepted. You can revoke any pending invitation at any time.

Role-Based Access

Every member is assigned one of five roles. Permissions are enforced on every server action, so users can only perform operations their role allows.

  • Owner — Full control over the organisation, billing, encryption keys, and all modules. Cannot be removed.
  • Admin — Can manage members, settings, integrations, and all ISMS module data. Cannot manage billing or encryption keys.
  • Manager — Can create, edit, and approve items across all ISMS modules. Cannot manage members or organisation settings.
  • Editor — Can create and edit items but cannot approve documents or manage other users.
  • Viewer — Read-only access to all modules. Useful for auditors or external reviewers.

User Limits by Plan

Each plan has a maximum number of members (including pending invitations):

  • Starter — Up to 10 users
  • Pro — Up to 25 users
  • Business — Up to 50 users
  • Enterprise — Unlimited users

If you reach your plan's limit, you will need to upgrade before adding more members or sending additional invitations.

Audit Log

Every action in Standardise is recorded in an immutable audit log, accessible from the Settings > Audit Log tab. Entries include the user, action performed, timestamp, and the originating IP address. The audit log cannot be modified or deleted, providing a tamper-proof record for ISO 27001 compliance.
